The Green Lanes Environmental Movement (GLEAM) campaigns against the use of Green Lanes by 4x4s and motorbikes.



The Lakes Parish Council, which has two fell tracks in Little Langdale heavily used by 4x4s and motorbikes, is divided on whether to call for a ban on off-roading.

To help it make up its mind it is carrying out a public consultation. The consultation is not confined to residents. Anyone who knows the area as a visitor can also have their say.
