CPRE Derbyshire invites you to join their next free online talk: Natural flood management and what can be done at home, Thurs 29 Sept, 18:30 The talk will take place via Zoom and tickets can be booked HERE George Jones, the Wilder Communities Officer for Derbyshire Wildlife Trust will tell us about the Derwent Connections project and what is being done to help reduce the effects of flooding in the Derwent catchment. He will show us simple steps that can be taken at home to help reduce flooding in our own areas, giving us ideas of activities that can be done in any sized garden to store water, grow vegetables or create a home for wildlife. You don’t need to live in Derbyshire – you are welcome wherever you live! This live talk will last 30 minutes and allow 15 minutes for questions afterwards.
