The latest PDGLA newsletter can be read HERE This month the newsletter reports on the completion of repairs to Chapel Gate and Minninglow Lane A summary of progress on Definitive Map Modification Orders (DMMOs) in Derbyshire in 2019 can be read HERE DMMOs normally start when DCC processes an application to change the status of a route on the Definitive Map (which shows footpaths, bridleways, restricted byways and BOATs). If a route is shown on the Definitive Map users have a legal right to use it unless there is a TRO on the route. PDGLA is involved in some applications (mainly in opposing a route being classified as a BOAT if we believe that there is insufficient evidence to support BOAT status). However, we track the progress of other applications within and outside the Peak District.
