The Sheffield Institute of Arts (Old Head Post Office, Fitzalan Square, S1 2AY) is hosting two new exhibitions about walking from November 30th until December 22nd. The Walking Arts exhibition showcases the ongoing research and practice created by the Media Arts Walking Research Group, which has been funded by Sheffield Hallam University. The second, called Trespass' takes inspiration from the history of Rambling in The Peak District ‘Trespass' will include pieces that explore the relationship between visual art and text based work on the broad theme of walking in forbidden territory.
