Cavendish Cancer Care, a local Cancer charity based in Sheffield are staging a fund raising event on October 18th at the Broomhall Centre in Sheffield (S10 2FD) Christine Gregory, a naturalist, author and artist, will be giving a talk about Brown hares in their natural environments, as well as other topics that she has been studying over the last few years. There will be a chance for a meet and greet on the night as well as the opportunity to buy her latest book: Brown Hares in the Derbyshire Dales. Tickets are £5, with all proceeds going to Cavendish Cancer Care. This includes a welcome drink and nibbles.
