This is a brand new public footpath above Dam Flask reservoir linking Trouble Wood Lane & the Yorkshire Water permissive path along the reservoir site. Sheffield City Council have said that the reservoir is a "place of public resort". This is the fruit of Council's policy of consulting Ramblers' & ourselves when council-owned land comes up for sale or a new tenancy and asking both parties to suggest potentially new footpaths. There is a new signpost on Trouble Wood Lane & ladder stiles in intermediate walls. The society queried the use of user unfriendly structures but apparently ground levels between fields meant no other structure was feasible.
