The Manchester Histories Festival runs for ten days during June, with the “Celebration Day” being held in Manchester Town Hall. The day provides a focus for the festival, bringing together histories and heritage groups from across Manchester. David Bratt booked us a stand for this event some time ago and we were accepted. David, together with David Hurrell and Paul Easthope, manned the stand for the society. The day was a great success for us, giving a superb opportunity to meet with like-minded people, discuss the society's role, and enlist help and support.
