Derbyshire County Council's report to its Cabinet with the response to its consultation about the review of the rights of way service has been published and can be found here. The response is very much as we expected, but at least the Society's comments were considered, even if largely rejected. We will monitor carefully the council's performance against its new Charter targets, and consider serving legal notices if faults which are important for walkers remain unresolved for too long.
