Signpost 492 is located on the newly (or soon to be) created Ecclesbourne Way at SK 29780 50792. Signposts 497 and 498 are just north by Pratthall Lane at SK 29161 52807 and SK 29243 52472. Signpost 497 points to another stretch of the Ecclesbourne Way, along a pleasant, grassy footpath running parallel to the less attractive Pratthall Lane. The Ecclesbourne Way, which is eleven miles long, runs between Duffield and Wirksworth. It will enable walkers to take the train or bus in one direction and then walk back. More PNFS signposts are planned along it. They will commemorate Geoff Errington of Belper, who volunteered every Monday at Taylor House until his sad and untimely death last year.
